To see and hear the harmonic wind of a music box, seeking serenity despite the cruelties of war, through the dream and the eyes of an Afghan girl.

Aliah. The music box, a symbol of memories and the passage of time, sweetens everything through its melodies. It embodies hope for a better world, a dream that comes true in the intertwining dance of life and death, forming a harmonious play under the silvery light of the moon. This celestial glow breaks the chain of good and evil, prompting us to take a meditative gaze at the world, to truly reach the heart of things.

Aliah is remarkable for its graphic perfection but, above all, for its poetic intensity, condensed into a few minutes of a short film. It’s a dream come true, a chase between life and death that transforms into a harmonious play under the silvery light of the moon. This celestial glow breaks the chain of good and evil, suggesting the need for a meditative gaze at the world to truly get to the heart of things.

Aliah, the first 3D short film created by the LAB81® team, won the WWW 2012 Award from Il Sole 24 Ore and numerous other national and international awards. It was crafted as a self-promotion tool, aspiring for online video to solidify itself as a powerful advertising instrument through new forms of creativity.
